火星塞 冷熱值定義
火星塞 "冷型" "熱型" 的意義, 常常因為文字上認知的差異造成 誤導與誤解.
另一說法是: 低熱值( Low heat range ) 和 高熱值 ( High heat range )
但是, 各家品牌 熱值 ( Heat Range ) 的定義也不同, 以 DENSO / NGK 為例, 參 考如下:

銥合金屬的優點:點火電壓低,火焰強勁,燃燒速度增快,火焰集中穩定,可提升加速性及省油性.
NGK銥合金 (Iridium)火咀
溶點約是2400℃,比白金火咀還要高700℃,硬度和抗蝕能力也比白金火咀強六倍以上。
由於銥合金溶點高,抗蝕能力強,所以容許電極焊點的直徑進一步縮少,
由白金火咀的1.1mm縮少至0.4-0.7mm,效果是火花更集中,所需電壓亦得以下降。
能更穩定地提升燃燒效果,結果是增加馬力,減少引擎內部構件積碳,令機件更耐用
